Kynna Johnston

Kynna brings over five years of experience in humanitarian support, high-level executive operations, and community advocacy to her role as Project Manager at JAX Leaders & Allies. In this capacity, she co-manages operations, administrative coordination, and serves as a regional representative between the LGBTQ+ community and JLA. Her professional trajectory is defined by a passion for being a voice for the voiceless, consistently serving high-risk populations through roles at JASMYN, Inc. and the International Rescue Committee.

She holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in International Affairs from Florida State University, with certificates in Emergency Management & Homeland Security and U.S. National Intelligence Studies. Her academic research has explored the power of compassion and the intersections of global health and crisis. Extending her commitment to advocacy, she is the founder of Your Village LLC, a doula business where she applies a trauma-informed and compassion-based intersectional lens to support marginalized birthing populations, specifically LGBTQ+ folx.
