JAX Leaders & Allies is a neutral convener for nonprofit and civic leaders working to strengthen inclusive, informed, and responsive services for young people and families in Northeast Florida. We bring together both LGBTQ+-focused organizations and broader youth-serving providers to share trusted information, practical guidance, and community-informed best practices.

Our origins trace back to Fall 2022, when escalating attacks on LGBTQ+ communities left many service providers navigating uncertainty without clear external support. Leaders across sectors saw the need for a trusted space where organizations could come together to learn, problem-solve, and respond thoughtfully to a rapidly changing environment. The first official JAX Leaders & Allies convening took place in June 2023.

Today, JAX Leaders & Allies helps strengthen the people and organizations doing frontline work every day. We do not provide direct services. Instead, we connect leaders, surface needs, encourage collaboration, and help providers remain prepared, compassionate, and effective in serving young people and families across our region.
